There are so many amazing Chefs who have inspired us over the years and led us to where we are today. Secco's culinary team, Chef Julie Heins and Sous Chef Aaron Long, are celebrating these icons with special dinners and events throughout the year. Our inaugural event is a family-style dinner featuring recipes inspired by famed Italian Chef Marcella Hazan, and our guest speaker is Secco alumna Sarah Skeen, who is an Italian Instructor at University of Richmond and huge fan of Marcella. Tickets are $80 (all-inclusive of food, wine, tax and gratuity) and can be purchased through PayPal here.

Reception: Tarocco Spritz (Aviation Gin, Cappelletti, Le Colture Prosecco, winter citrus, vanilla simple)

Antipasti: Sardinian Sheet Music Bread; Celery Root Puree, Black Olive Paste; Marinated Artichokes, Mushrooms with Prosciutto. Pairing: Muri-Gries 2016 Muller-Thurgau (Alto Adige).

Primo: Abruzzo-Style Lamb Sauce, Sage Laminated Pasta alla Chitarra; Ricotta and Mint Tortelloni, Smoked Almonds and Parmesan. Pairing: Terre Nere 2016 Etna Rosato (Sicilia).

Secondo: Grilled Whole Branzino with Salmoriglio Sauce and Capers; Apulian-Style Escarole, Garlic, Chili, Olive Oil Breadcrumbs; Manakintowne Arugula and Finocchio Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette. Pairing: Dal Maso 2016 Tai Rosso "Montemitorio" (Veneto).

Formaggio e Dolce: Piave Vecchio Cheese; Apple Tart and Honey Gelato. Pairing: Cardamaro (Piemonte).
