We’re thrilled to welcome back Meghan Vandette of The Robins Cellars for a whirlwind tour of the red wines of Rhone Valley, France. From Grenache (Chateauneuf de Pape) in the south to Syrah (Cornas) in the north, and plenty of Cotes du Rhone in between (hell, we might even sneak in a rose from Tavel), there’s something delicious to learn about here. Meghan will touch on geography, history, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions over a family-style dinner. Seating is limited (12) and ticketed ($40 per person all-inclusive). Tickets available through PayPal HERE. Cheers!

What IS “Orange Wine” anyway? The short answer is white wine with extended skin contact (white wine made like a red wine), but there’s so much more to it than that! Come learn about the history, resurgence, and wildly different styles from Italy, Spain, Slovenia, etc. We’ll taste and discuss over a simple family style meal. Tickets are $40 inclusive (only 12 seats) and are available through PayPal HERE.
We’re thrilled once again to partner with Fountain Bookstore and bring back “Drinkable Globe” author Jeff Cioletti! Jeff will be signing copies of his latest book “SakePedia: A Non-Traditional Guide to Japan’s Traditional Beverage,” while discussing the history and production of Sake. Meanwhile, Secco will be serving up various Sake and pairings to help educate your palate. Tickets are $65 per person all-inclusive and include a signed copy of the book. Tickets are available through PayPal HERE.
About the Book
As modern palates get progressively more adventurous, sake is having its moment. But as beloved as the beverage is in its native Japan, it’s frequently misunderstood in the rest of the world. Cioletti, a certified international Kikisake-shi―a fancy term for “sake sommelier”―presents a comprehensive guide to sake that both celebrates and demystifies the traditional Japanese drink.
